The new models of the MatePad Pro series, which will be announced at the event on December 12, create a significant expectation through social media promotions and teaser images. MatePad Pro 13.2 and/or MatePad Pro 11 2024, which were expected to be introduced at the launch, attracted attention with their powerful features and aesthetic design. According to leaked information, it was learned that this tablet is the MatePad Pro 13.2, which is exclusive to China.
Huawei posted a video on X confirming the global launch of the MatePad Pro 13.2 on December 12. The tablet is not explicitly mentioned in the post. However, #HUAWEIMatePadPro is included, while the video shows a tablet with a notch and the wallpaper we saw in the official images of the MatePad Pro 13.2.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is powered by a Kirin 9000S SoC, runs HarmonyOS 4 and has up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It’s built around a 13.2-inch 144Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2,880×1,920 pixels and packs a 10,100 mAh battery with 88W wired charging.
The unusual accessories seen in the teaser images reflect Huawei’s unconventional product approach. These accessories may include headphones, or they may herald another smart device with HarmonyOS support.
